Farmsecure is an innovative participator throughout the agricultural value chain whose agricultural operations are optimized from 'farm to shelf'.
Privately owned, Farmsecure was founded in 2004, following years of change in the South African agricultural sector. At this time, Jerome Yazbek, founder and CEO, was approached by a group of South African farmers, seeking a model for sustainable and profitable agriculture in South Africa.
Farmsecure was founded on four operational principles (on grains):

With over 3 000 permanent and contracted staff, the Farmsecure family of companies and partner operations has a presence throughout South Africa’s nine provinces.
